As I mentioned in last post, this pattern will be in my etsy shop: Milly Crochet Shorts.
For the first, let me show you again used stitches. I used those stitches: Ch - Chain Sl st - Slip stitch Sc - Single crochet Dc - Double crochet Tr - Treble crochet tr3tog - Treble crochet 3 stitches together Finish - Cut yarn, tie (slst) and block. Explanation: Tr3tog: Yarn over the hook twice, insert hook into next stitch, yarn over the hook and pull up 1 loop . Yarn over the hook and pull through 2 of the loops on the hook. Yarn over the hook and pull through 2 of the loops on the hook.* Repeat from * to * 2 more times. You will have 4 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. This pattern is for little bit experienced crocheters. Well, all used stitches are common, but because of joining, it is very nice if you have experience in sewing, for example! But, if you follow my instructions carefully, it will be ok for everyone, I think. For the first, you have to make one square. First one. FIRST SQUARE Ch6, join to circle. 1st row: Ch4 (counts as first dc, ch1), dc in circle. *ch1, dc in circle*, repeat from * to * 9 more times. Ch1, slst to 3rd ch from the start. (12 holes) 2nd row: ch3 (counts as first dc). *2dc in hole, dc in dc*, repeat 10 more times. 2dc in last hole. Slst in 3rd ch from starting ch3. (36 dc’s) 3rd row: ch4 (counts as first tr in tr3tog). *Yarn over the hook twice, insert hook into next stitch, yarn over the hook and pull up 1 loop . Yarn over the hook and pull through 2 of the loops on the hook. Yarn over the hook and pull through 2 of the loops on the hook.* Repeat from * to * one more times. You will have 3 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. Remark: this is first tr3tog. And this one is slightly different than other regular tr3tog. *ch5, tr3tog in next 3 dc*, repeat from * to * 10 more times. Ch5, slst in first tr3tog. (12 clusters). 4th row: ch8, sc in same place. # *Ch5, sc in next tr3tog.* Repeat one more time . Ch5, sc in first next tr3tog. Ch7, sc in same place. # Repeat from # to # 2 more times. You will have all 4 corners. Than, repeat from * to * (ch5, sc i next tr3tog) 2 more time. IMPORTANT: Instead of last ch5, work ch2, dc in starting point of this row, 1st chain of starting 8ch. 5th row: #Ch5, sc in corner ch7 loop. Ch7, sc in same place (ch7 loop from previous row).# *Ch5, sc in next ch5 loop*, repeat from * to * 2 more times. Than repeat from # to #. Repeat from * to * 3 times, than from # to #. .And once again repeat from * to * 3 times, than from # to #. Repeat from * to * 2 times, than work ch5 and finish by slst in starting point of starting ch5 in this row. Finish square (weave end). REMARK: In paid pattern (on Etsy or Ravelry) I have lot of photos to explanate every single step (row). Enjoy!

Very often memeber of groups where I showed my work ask me for pattern. Unfortunatelly, I rarelly use patterns from regular places (was trown out from one groupe because I asked about sharing free pattern from my own blog! "Ha, look, you have a etsy shop! You can share from other, unknown blogs, with etsy, of course, but you can not share from your own blog, because you have etsy!"). I have planty patterns (pictures, charts mostly) saved in my comp. And, I used them on my way! It is hard to follow pattern if you are from Serbia, for example. I can not find same tread as it is recomended in pattern, for example. Also, I am not common with measurement, for me is big mess to convert cm to inches or contrary, while I work with hook! On my etsy shop, I write measure in both, cm and inches, even it takes a lot of time. But, I think I have to respect people who do not use cm :) Well, my tunics, which I made in few diferent colors, are very easy for making. Beleive me! I used this chart for hexagonals. As you can see, I found it on some Japanese site. You can search on the net by picture, and I am sure that this chart is on huge number other sites. But, I found there. Made them together in work, what means, I connect hexagons in last row. I beleive that everyone who worked with granny squars, for exapmle, know what it means:) Maybe you can see on the picture of tunic how I conected hexagons. Also, you can see that I didn't use half of hexagon. Maybe this chart will be usefull, too. Even I found it on some Japanese site, too :) |
